The First MICIE Workshop took place in Haifa, Israel, on November 5th, 2009.

The workshop was hosted and organized by IEC, with the support of ILTAM (The Israeli Users’ Association of Advanced Technologies in Hi-Tec Integrated Systems) and the Israeli Chapter of INCOSE (International Council on Systems Engineering). Its half-day programme included a set of technical discussions about the MICIE Project and a set of invited presentations from Israeli speakers.

The workshop gathered more than 50 attendees – mainly from local industry, Israeli universities and national organizations – which actively participated in the discussions, providing precious feedback to the MICIE Project and valuable networking and exploitation paths that will be explored in the future.
